Technology for Home Can Get for Amazon Prime Day
Upgrading your home with the recent technology can be expensive, but Amazon Prime Day is an opportunity to do it for a lot less. Whether it’s robotic vacuum cleaners or smart light bulbs, today there is a whole range of IoT devices and kitchen appliances. Even some of our favorites from iRobot, Shark and Google have been reduced. Not all sales are worth your money, so we’ve taken the trouble to narrow this list down to the best deals available.
Ecobee Smart Thermostat
One of our most popular smart thermostats is the one from Ecobee, so we are happy that it is available today. It has built-in Alexa support, which means you can easily control the temperature with your voice. Features include natural language processing, voice recognition and a smart “Home & Away” function that detects your presence and automatically adjusts the temperature. If you prefer something simpler, the Ecobee3 Lite, which does not have voice control.
Ecobee Smart Sensor for Doors and Windows
If you want to further improve your Ecobee ecosystem, consider purchasing these smart sensors. They are sold, which is 21% less than the sale. Just attach them to your doors or windows and you will receive a warning every time they are opened. They work with your Ecobee Smart Thermostat to automatically stop heating or cooling when left open. It also works as a security system, as it has a 120-degree motion sensor that alerts you to movements from a distance of up to 16 feet.
Nest Learning Thermostat
Nest now offers a whole range of products. One of them is Nest’s Learning Thermostat, which has dropped to for Prime Day. That’s less than the original sale price. It is available in several finishes – brass, copper, black mirror, polished steel, stainless steel and white.
It is currently Google’s high-end Smart Thermostat, with the ability to “learn” your preferences over time and adjust your home temperature accordingly. It also works with optional sensors that you can place throughout the house to allocate specific temperatures for different rooms.
A affordable option is the Standard Nest Thermostat, which is also available today. It does not work with temperature sensors and it lacks the learning capabilities of the high-end model, but you can still use it to control the temperature of your home remotely.
Nest Doorbell Battery
The Nest doorbell battery today, which is less than the usual price. This video doorbell is powered by rechargeable batteries, so it does not need to be firmly connected to the house, which is good news for tenants. It doesn’t provide 24/7 video recording like the Nest Hello, but it stores up to 3 hours of event history for free or up to 60 days if you have a Nest Aware Subscription. If the Wi-Fi goes down, up to an hour of recorded events are recorded so that you can see what you missed. Alternatively, if you just want an indoor or outdoor security camera without a ring function, the Nest Cam battery is also available today. It also works with rechargeable batteries and even has a magnetic holder.
